Youth Wellbeing Project strengthens parents’ confidence to positively communicate with their kids about sexuality, relationships and porn.
Putting parents at ease
Youth Wellbeing Project parent workshops provide a wealth of information and understanding about the impacts of hypersexualised culture, and put parents at ease with strategies to implement with their child, tween or young person. These presentations are for parents who feel overwhelmed with the thought of sexuality conversations and the impact of pornography, or who just simply want to know how they can support their child more effectively.
A range of parent workshops are available:
- Youth Sexuality and the Internet
- Preparing Children and Tweens for the Teen Years
- IQ program delivery within schools
Youth Wellbeing Project presentations are most often offered in conjunction with student seminars and professional development for staff. We encourage a whole-school response and provide comprehensive resources to facilitate positive change within children and young people’s health, wellbeing, relationships and online & offline safety.
